Rajanna- Sircilla: The newly developed Gudicheruvu Bund Park near the Sri Rajarajeshwara Swamy Temple in Vemulawada was inaugurated on Thursday by State Ministers Thummala Nageswara Rao, Ponnam Prabhakar and Adluri Laxman Kumar, along with Government Whip and Vemulawada MLA Aadi Srinivas. 

Developed at a cost of Rs 12 crore, the project offers improved amenities for devotees and tourists visiting the temple town. District Collector Garima Agrawal, 

Superintendent of Police Mahesh B. Gite and temple officials attended the inauguration. The ministers inspected key attractions, including the towering Lord Shiva statue,

Nataraja statue, Sapta Matrika idols, landscaped gardens and other beautification works. 

The park also features a walking track, fountain, amphitheatre, cobblestone pathways and extensive greenery, creating a peaceful environment for visitors. 

Executed by the Tourism Department through the Vemulawada Temple Area Development Authority (VATDA), the project is expected to enhance tourism infrastructure and reinforce Vemulawada’s reputation as the “Dakshina Kashi,” offering visitors a richer spiritual and recreational experience.
