HYDERABAD: The disruption occurred as soon as the third day of the session began on Wednesday. Telangana assembly speaker Gaddam Prasad took a key decision during the Telangana Assembly proceedings, suspending BRS members from the House.
He announced that the suspension would remain in effect for the entire duration of the current Assembly session, citing their obstruction of House proceedings as the reason.
The disruption occurred as soon as the third day of the session began on Wednesday. While ministers were speaking, BRS members surrounded the Speaker's podium and raised slogans.
They were demanding justice regarding the high tensions that arose yesterday when the Congress SC Cell attempted to lay siege to KCR's farmhouse.
The Speaker objected to their behavior and asked the BRS members to return to their seats, but they did not comply.
Consequently, Legislative Affairs Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu requested the Speaker to suspend them, and the decision to suspend the members was announced immediately.
Meanwhile, BRS members staged a walkout from the Legislative Council.
