Guntur: District collector CM Sai Kanth Varma said that district administration is giving top priority to solve the problems of the people. He visited Pedanandipadu mandal of Prathipadu Assembly constituency on Friday.
He along with MLA B Ramanjaneyulu received petitions from the residents of Prathipadu and Kakumanu mandals under One Month-One Constituency-Four visits programme.
Speaking on this occasion, Varma said that following the orders of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, the district administration is successfully conducting the programme.
He said the aim of the programme is to create awareness on the welfare schemes being implemented by the government and take steps to deliver the benefits of the welfare schemes to the eligible.
He assured that the petitions received in the programme would be solved. MLA Ramanjaneyulu said that for the first time this programme is being conducted in Prathipadu Assembly constituency and all the petitions received in the programme would be solved.
The officials received 149 petitions, out of which 115 petitions were related to revenue. Tenali in-charge RDO Lakshmi Kumari, Guntur RDO K Srinivasa Rao, deputy transport commissioner Sitarami Reddy, officials of various government departments were present.
