Hyderabad: IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu on August 10 dismissed as blatant lies reports alleging that land was allotted at a low price to a company linked to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy brother at Ravirala in Maheshwaram mandal of Rangareddy district.
In an official statement, D Sridhar Babu clarified that the Chief Minister brother had no connection whatsoever with Tesseract Advanced Systems Private Limited, the company to which the land was allotted.
He strongly condemned what he described as false propaganda targeting the Chief Minister family, alleging that fake documents were being actively circulated with the sole intention of tarnishing the image of the state government.
The Minister emphasised that the land allocation to Tesseract Advanced Systems Private Limited at Ravirala was not carried out secretly and was executed strictly in accordance with all prescribed rules and regulations.
He stated that the allocation was made transparently after obtaining the approval of the Consultative Committee on Electronics System Design and Manufacturing.
D Sridhar Babu alleged that BRS and BJP were resorting to a mind game by circulating fabricated stories to divert public attention from other pressing issues.
He accused BRS leaders of orchestrating political drama to prevent the exposure of alleged land-related irregularities committed during their own tenure.
D Sridhar Babu further alleged that BRS and BJP were attempting to obstruct industrial growth and discourage investments in Telangana by creating unnecessary controversy around legitimate land allocations.
He reiterated that the state government maintains complete transparency in allocating land for industrial and investment purposes, ensuring every allotment processes through prescribed procedures.
Warning that the government would not tolerate the circulation of false information aimed at damaging its reputation, D Sridhar Babu urged opposition parties to refrain from spreading misinformation and instead focus on state development and investment generation.
