Nalgonda: Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy once again demonstrated his generosity by extending financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh to a meritorious student from Devarakonda in Nalgonda district for pursuing higher education abroad.
The beneficiary, Parimala, hails from a poor family and completed her studies at IIT Madras. She has secured admission to a prestigious university in Germany to pursue her Master’s degree.
However, her parents, who work as daily wage labourers, were unable to bear the expenses of her higher education. Devarakonda MLA Balu Naik brought Parimala’s financial difficulties to the notice of Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy.
Moved by her academic achievement and economic hardship, the minister immediately sanctioned financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh through the Komatireddy Prateek Reddy Foundation to support her studies abroad.
Expressing her gratitude, Parimala thanked Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy for his timely support, stating that the assistance would help her fulfil her dream of pursuing higher education in Germany and build a successful career.
