Telangana Language Day observed in his memory signifies the contribution made by him in portraying the uniqueness of the language and dialect of Telangana in his writing.
Chief Minister said that the works of Rao reflected the problems faced by the people and their aspirations and made his pen as a medium of social awareness.
He said that the Telangana language was not only the mode of communication but an indicator of culture and self-respect as well.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy appealed for the upkeep of the honour of the language and passing the legacy of the poet to future generations.
