Nellore: Municipal Corporation Commissioner YO Nandan distributed nutritious food to athletes at AC Subba Reddy Stadium here on Sunday, organised by Walkers International voluntary organisation.
Addressing the gathering, Nandan stated that students participating in large numbers in various sports training camps during summer vacation was a positive development that would contribute to building a healthy society.
He noted such training camps will provide students with an opportunity to improve their skills and gain proficiency in different sporting disciplines while making productive use of their holidays.
The Commissioner also lauded Walkers International for its support to young athletes over the past 15 days through the nutrition programme.
