Hyderabad: Lawyers Forum for Social Justice headed by Advocate High Court Mr. Nagulula Srinivas Yadav, National Samatha Lawyers Organisation headed by Advocate Putta Padma Rao and All India Democratic Lawyers Federation headed by its Founder President Advocate High Court MA Mujeeb, Felicitate Justice Nagesh Bheemapaka and Justice Pulla Karthik on their elevation from High Court Advocates at a simple function held at Peoples’ Education Trust at Abids here yesterday.
Welcoming the delegates Advocate Srinivas Yadav the President of Lawyers Forum for Social Justice said it is a pleasant occasion for OBC, SC, ST and Minority advocates getting together in honoring their former colleagues on their elevation as the Judges of the High Court of Telangana
In his address to the gathering the Secretary General of LFSJ and High Court advocate appreciated the houseful gathering despite heavy rains. He thanked the Chief Guest of Honour for making it and sharing their valuable views with the gathering.
In his presidential address President of the National Samatha Lawyers Organization and High Court Advocate Putta Padma Rao appreciated the incessant handwork done by their Lordships in reaching their coveted sittings in Honorable High Court. He appealed advocates from the under privileged Societies to follow role model set by Justice Nagesh Bheemapaka and Justice Pulla Karthik.
In his guest of Honour’s address the President of Telangana High Court Advocates Association who is also the President of Telangana unit of All India Democratic Lawyers Federation,, Advocate V Raghunath called for the justice to advocates belonging to suppressed and underprivileged OBC, SC, ST and minority Societies. He said it is unfortunate despite after 75 years of Indian Independence these societies continue to suffer for their Social Justice in the Higher Judiciary.
Raghunath stressed for OBC, SC, ST and Minority advocates to plan their legal work and do justice to their clients thereby shine in the legal profession and claim highest degree of legal standing. He wished that Justice Nagesh Bheemapaka and Justice Pulla Karthik deliver public oriented and land mark judgements.
In his Co-Chief Guest address Justice Nagesh Bheemapaka moved the gathering and requested them to address as usual how high court advocates addressed him by name, not be theiur Lordship. Justice Nagesh Bheemapaka appraised the gathering about his consistent long journey from his schooldays unto standing in the Supreme Court’s line to fetch case mention coupons.
Justice Nagesh Bheemapaka guided hard working advocates who come like him from far end – remote area of Bhadrachalam area bordering Chattishgarh and Odissa. Justice Nagesh Bheemapaka gave hints to be a successful Lawyers. He said that he goes through the life history of all great people including Vivekananda Swamy, All Volumes of the Constitution authored by Dr.BR Ambedkar, Yogi Paramahansa, Nariman’s ‘State of the nation, judicial activism by Justice Rama Swamy. He advised the Advocates fraternity to work in a planned and result oriented manner. He referred how he took his first brief as an advocate from his client in 1992. He suggested advocates and judges burn mid night oil in delivery of justice.
In his Co-Chief Guest address Justice Pulla Karthik educated the advocates coming from the underprivileged Societies how to come over success despite their domestic and social difficulties. At times the advocates from these societies work hard for their survival. Justice Pulla Karthik advices advocates to have professional skills and develop professional attitude with sincerity and without deviating from the main profession. He said some advocates are leaving practice in High Court to the District Courts for their survival and progressive legal profession as a successful advocates.
Speaking to IWP separately on the sidelines of the function, All India Democratic Lawyers Federation’s Founder President Advocate High Court MA Mujeeb recalled that his Federation along with the President LFSJ Advocate Nagula Srivias Yadav called on the then Chief Justice NV Ramana on 18-4-2022 and submitted a memorandum praying for the proportional Social justice to the advocates belong to the OBC, SC, ST and Minorities in higher Judiciary,
Advocate High Court MA Mujeeb recalled the Social Justice to all communities motivational words of the then Chief Justice NV Ramana. Mujeeb thanked the then Chief Justice NV Ramana for accommodating two judges from the from the underprivileged societies. Mujeeb wished for the elevation of Justice Nagesh Bheemapaka and Justice Pulla Karthik to the Supreme Court.
