Hyderabad: National President of Bahujana Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MA Mujeeb, General Secretary of BRS Nandikanti Sai Kumar, Telangana State Working President Cheema Jagdeesh Yadav and Telangana Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali in their separate messages expressed their grief over the sad demise of eighth Nizam of erstwhile Hyderabad kingdom Mukrram Jah Bahadur in Istanbul city of Turkey.
In his condolence message the national President of All India Muslim Federation who is also the national president of Bahujana Rashtra Samitji MA Mujeeb said that Mukarram Jah Bahadur did not compromise with public needs. His lieutenants at home deceived him and made him poor and Mukarram Jah Bahadur’s wish to be amalgamated with the land of native country (Watan) demonstrates as true son of Hyderabad and India.
“Despite the then Chief Minister Brahmananda Reddy cheated him and forced him to live India, Mukarram Jah Bahadur continued his services to the poor and poor. Hyderabad in particular and India in general will remember him along way BRS General Secretary Nandikanti Sai Kumar recalled.
Expressing his condolences, Telangana Home Minister said Nawab Mir Osman Ali Khan’s great grandson Makarram Jah Bahadur was 90 years at the time of his demise.
He recalled Mir Osman Ali Khan had proclaimed his grand son Mukarram Jaj Bahadur as his heir and successor. Mahmood Ali said after the demise of Mir Osman Ali Khan,
Mukarram Jah Bahadur was coronated in 1967 in Chowmohalla Palace in Hyderabad. Mukarram Jah Bahadur had been residing in Isthambul since a long time.
